Lens Bonding and Rear Nav Lights Ready
I got the lenses bonded today and went ahead and got the rear NAV lights installed. I’m missing some screws but beyond that they are ready.

I had spare time after dealing with weekend chores so I decided to spend some time getting the lenses prepped for bonding with the wing tips. Spent most of my time taping and then I scoured the external edges for the bonding process which I will start on Monday.
As I was thinking through my mistake last night with one of the aileron torque tubes, I realized that the first hole that I drilled was the undersized #30. I still had to drill a #12 to get it to the size for an AN3 bolt to fit through it. Read more

I got the first half of the left outboard bottom skin done tonight as well as the pitot tube mount. That was a pain in the rear and I left some marks on the mount when the bucking bar kept slipping off one of the rivets. Such a pain in Read more
The last of my wire order came in. I got the wires run and I soldered them to the Garmin GAP 26 controller. I put the outboard bottom skin on the wing and installed the flap on the wing. I got a series of the rivets setup and ready for Read more
I got the frame riveted together and all of the skins on. Now I just have to wait for the outboard skin to go on before I can put the brass bushings in and mount the flap to the wing.
